"" Noticeable Skin Improvement
I have to tell you that after the 1st week of doing the Advanced Clay Detox regimen, I went with my husband for his appointment with our Dermatologist. I noticed the Doctor look at my face twice and he didn't say anything. After Bill's exam was done, I went in to see the Doctor's book keeper, she literally ran up to me and stroked my face with her right hand (something she never did before) and asked me what I was using on my skin. At first, I asked her if she really noticed a difference and she said, "Oh my, yes!!" I didn't notice any changes at the time, but now that I am 18 days into the Advanced Detox, and I have done 3 clay masks, I notice my skin is firmer and the pores are shrinking and I don't use as much makeup. â Robin M.

Love Affair with Living Clay - My Skin Tells All
You know, over the last few years I've gone through lots of different "health" products, but the clay and psyllium husk powder are the only 2 that I have stuck with this long.....because I have seen the results and they are great. I've been out in the sun a lot these past 2 weeks and I have not taken the time to apply sun screen on my face (which I need to be better about), but I have not had the first hint of sunburn on my face yet. I do believe that it is because of the clay masks. My face just does not feel as "sensitive" as it had been in the past. Another thought that I have had about the clay face masks is that the circulation to my face has improved due to the drawing power of the clay as it dries on my face and pulls the blood up. Whenever I wash off the clay my face is flushed red, which is the blood sitting right under the surface of the skin. I believe this is improving my circulation, thus giving more oxygen to those areas, thus making a healthier face. I was not blessed with good circulation. - Hallie G.

Complexion Improvement
I received a sample of the Rejuvenation Face Cream and just love it. I know that it has been instrumental in helping my skin as well! You shared a few days ago that you have gotten feedback from some who have asked that the Rejuvenation Face Cream be marketed as an "acne cream." I can see why! Just wanted to share of my experience thus far with your powder clay product. I've been ingesting an teaspoonful a day in an 8oz. glass of water in the morning on an empty stomach as suggested. I can see a marked difference in the appearance of my skin and complexion. I've been dealing with some slight adult acne which has left some mild scaring. My skin a clearing nicely and seems to have a "glow" to it. I have had a wee bit of sun too. - Cynthia J.

Genital Herpes
I was diagnosed with genital herpes one year ago and went on the usual bout of prescriptions. Every now and then, as predicted, I get a break out, not as bad as the first. A friend of mine -- who is the one I credit to turning me on to your products and a genital herpes sufferer as well, recommended that I put the clay mask directly on the sore and leave it on. I had been using Zovirax cream-- which was not helping by the way. I put it directly on the sore at night and went to bed with it on. The next day, it was completely gone. And this has happened twice. - Julia B. ""............from aboutclay dot com

is this really coconut oil?

Kelsie Dri

Over the past weekend I bought a jar of coconut oil at a city market while I was out of town. The oil came in a mason jar (homemade) and had a label on it that said coconut oil. when I got home I noticed some white clumps in the bottom of the jar. I thought it was just a few shavings of coconut in the jar. After thinking about it for a while I wondered if it was really coconut oil or if it was a rip off. it has no smell and has changed over the past few days. This is how it has transformed: DAY ONE it was a clearish yellow oil with a few white clumps stuck to the bottom and what looked like 3 pieces of coconut floating in it. DAY TWO on day two it started to turn a milkey white but was still see through. it was a little clumpy but would smooth out once rubbed onto skin. DAY THREE (today) the oil is solidified and very clumpy. I can turn the container upside down without any dumping out. when it is applied to skin it goes on very smoothly and is not clumpy but when you get some out it is clumpy. I have also made sure to close the lid tightly every time I use it. I would like to use it for other things other than my skin but would like to know for sure it is what is says first. Thanks :)

Answer
Yepp that sounds like coconut oil alright!

Coconut oil has a reletively low melting point, so it doesnt take much to make it have a liquid state again, nor does it take much for it to cool down over the course of time and solidify again. the way it sounds you dont have the most pure stuff, but like you said its homemade so it makes sense.
