Skin purging? Coconut oil.?

Lector's G

I have been using Nutiva (organic, unrefined, no hexane etc...) Coconut Oil on my face for acne for about a week. I have NEVER had so much acne in my life. I look like a boy in middle school. Is this my skin purging and getting rid of toxins, or is this oil not good for my face? Which is more likely?
I am wanting to get rid of acne. I am probably very toxic.

Answer
don't put coconut oil on your face......in fact dont put anything on your face, eat lots of fruit n veggies, stay away from meat, dairy, and suger as much as u can. diet has more to do with skin then u may think

Are Pure coconut oil and Extra Virgin coconut oil the same?

yeah

Is Extra Virgin coconut oil the exact same as Pure coconut oil, or is it better?

Any of You know for sure?

Thanks :)

Answer
Pure coconut oil is the same as virgin coconut oil. Extra virgin is the same and is basically just a term used to ride on the olive oil industry's coattails.

"Don't be mislead by the term "extra virgin" when used in conjunction with coconut oil. This term is borrowed from the olive oil industry and there is no such product or existing standard that can be applied to coconut oil production. If you see the term "extra virgin" be assured that it is simply a marketing ploy to encourage you to believe that the oil has something more to offer than virgin coconut oil."

Methods of processing are wet centrifuged (cold), dry expeller pressed, dry bleached, and wet fermented. http://nutiva.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/raw-coco-poster.pdf
