Q. I use coconut oil on my skin (I have keratosis pilaris) and it has worked rly well but is it bad if I also use it for my face?
Answer
Believe it or not, coconut oil is comedogenic. This means that it will clog you pores. Quite a few people who begin using coconut oil on their face report major benefits within the first week, and in the second week decide the coconut oil is causing more problems than they had in the first place. If you want an oil to use on your face, try researching the oil cleansing method. There's loads of information and resources. If you're not committed to using an oil, I would recommend using raw honey. Raw honey is honey in it's unfiltered and original form. Using regular honey won't help. You can get it at your local health food store, or on the internet. (It also tastes super delicious, lol.) I just smear it on my face and leave it for a half hour. It's rather strange feeling, but I've completely converted to honey masks, and my mother has too upon seeing the massive improvements in my skin.

Answer
Coconut oil - virgin coconut oil is best for the skin but is too heavy for facial application. Try grapeseed oil instead. It is very light and thin plus nourishing for your skin.
