After reading all of the information about the health benefits of extra virgin coconut oil, I ordered some and received it yesterday. All over the internet I find people that are touting this oil, but I've yet to see anyone speak personally about the results they receive due to adding it to their diet. I keep hearing how wonderful it is, but it would be nice to know why and what positive or negative changes have occurred. So, if you have been taking extra virgin coconut oil please share what it is doing for you. :)
For those of you who do not know about coconut oil here is a good site with video.

The first thing that happened after about a month of using cocnut oil regularly, in all my cooking, etc. was that I developed a deep bronze tan. A while later I began having strong cravings for hawaiian purple, and even sashimi. I've been using coconut oil for a year now and my tongue is now longer and forked, and I love swimming with dolphins then sunning myself on lava rocks. I hope you have the same beneficial effects I have. I'm off to eat some lettuce now. bye.

I LOVE coconut oil. I have a big jar of organic extra virgin coconut oil (the best kind) that I got from Walmart; look for it in the pharmacy aisle. Coconut oil, from what I've heard, has health benefits, and you can ingest it. You can also cook with it. It's also great for your skin and hair. It makes my skin and hair soft and shiny. If you have hair that easily gets oily then use only a little bit of it in your hair. For instance, before you take a nice, warm, steaming shower, put a little bit of coconut oil in your hair and rinse (not shampoo or condition) while in the shower. You're hair will look nicer afterward. You can also warm some in the microwave and use it as a hot oil treatment.
