How often should I put coconut milk to my skin to have a glowing skin effect?

elizabeth

i live in the southeast pacific and coconuts are in abundance. recently, i have learned that there are lots of benefits i can get from coconut milk. it is cheap, free and easily available in where i live. my question is how often should i put coconut milk on my skin to have a glowing, smooth and silky effect? my friend told me that i should rub coconut milk to my skin everyday before i take a bath. And additional question, should i use fresh coconut milk or virgin coconut oils found in drugstores and grocery stores? which is better? thank you very much for all the responses!! =)

Answer
Coconut milk is thought to help exfoliate because of the fatty acids it has in it. I also heard that coconut oil was beneficial for hair and skin. Both applying it and ingesting it. The oil probably moisturizes more than exfoliate, so I'm sure you could do both. Just remember that the milk is probably a gentle exfoliation, so if your skin is really dry, there are more aggressive products that you could use that would give better exfoliation. But if your getting it free.. just stick with that. I wish we could get free coconuts here in the states! They are too expensive to buy here for daily consumption.

HOW GOOD IS ARGAN OIL SERUM?

Quintessa

I just discovered argan oil and i love it but i heard that there's a serum for the hair so i was wondering where can i buy it at and how good is the products and anything else you know about the stuff thanks a lot

Answer
Omg yes argan oil is awesome, I use it almost everyday because I have frizzy curls and that stuff is the only one that actually makes it look good. Plus I found one online that is also a heat protectant and I straighten my hair sometimes so it's extra useful, you use some after a shower and it's not even greasy. It has more benefits than olive, coconut, castor, almond..lots of oils in general, it's just really really good!! Mine is called pro naturals moroccan argan oil, look for it online. That one is kinda pricey because salons use it, but it's the best and it has no silicones. Oh careful with that btw, never get argan oi with silicones, always check the ingredient list. Those are bad for hair and make it heavy and greasy looking.
