Does coconut oil help dry skin?

Kierra

I heard that it does, does anybody know if that's true?
Also too, if you use it on your face, will it make you break out? It is oil afterall, i suppose.

Answer
I had a problem with dry skin, peeling, and it was even difficult to put makeup on, and tried all sorts of creams (from 60 dollars creams to olive oil and Vaseline), expensive and cheap, but it only got better, substantially when I found out that dry skin is not because of lack of oil but water, I bought a tonic Ives Rocher ( hydra specific) it was about 7 dollars, and the cream ultra source hydra specific, about 10 dollars, and after four years of dry skin, I finally got smooth again.

Is olive oil or coconut oil better for dry, damaged skin?

Answer
Its hard to find real olive oil anywhere, since it is still controlled by the mobs. I have mine shipped from overseas (for a hefty price) and I still dont know if its real. It does have a different flavor than that sold in stores, almost like when you were little and used to pull grass out and bite that white part. I know they have olive oil tasting, like wine tasting, but only for rich people, and they get judged and awarded. REAL olive oil can be VERY beneficial, Italians use it for anti-aging, moisturizing, etc.
Coconut oil (which is easily obtained) is also VERY beneficial, it has cancer fighting abilities. I use it on my hairless dog and his skin feels like a bay's bottom. Be careful! Too much can make you a walking greaseball! I also cook with it as often as possible. It has different (but also good) omegas that fish oil doesn't have. It also has an SPF of 20, so a natural sunscreen as well! Coconut oil has many uses, and is super healthy too!!!
