Can I give rabbits oil?

I mean, you heard about cats and dogs being given some oil.. like maybe coconut oil for nice shiny coat/hair.. and some believe for healthful benefits..

but what about rabbits?

I am having problems rushing my rabbit to a vet right now.. she's starting to get thinner, or so I think... vets here are really annoying because they like to treat dogs and cats rather than rabbits or anything cheaper :[

i read and heard about a sick rabbit given virgin coconut oil then, well, she was healed at the least..

I dont see any problem with giving it a try.

Some show rabbits are given corn oil for their coats.

You could also try mineral salt licks, vitamin drops, yogurt drops. All of these are treats that provide extra minerals.

I would just put a few drops on your rabbits pellet food and see how it goes.
