Does parachute coconut oil have same benefits as virgin or organic coconut oil?
My bf bought me some parachute coconut oil and he tells me that its the best kind of oil to use. Well i have heard that virgin or organic coconut oil is best, i have done some research on this parachute coconut oil and all i have found was good reviews about it, but there is no answer whether is has the properties to help protect the hair, help keep in protein and makes it stronger. On the back of the bottle it says that it is scientifically filtered to remain fresh for a long time. Well i really want to grow my hair and make my hair thicker, and im hoping that parachut coconut oil is the right one. Can someone please help, Indian, or black female please... Sorry im not racist i just know mostly indian and black women use it. No offense to any race.

Parachute coconut oil has stronger coconut smell compared to virgin coconut oil which may be a factor at work place etc. Also, parachute makes their oil from dried coconuts, and the coconut drying process can be unhygienic. The ultimate benefit to your hair could be the same from both sources, but I would recommend going with virgin coconut oil for the milder coconut smell, and the freshness.

Answer
This sounds to me like they're USED FOR COOKING. Any time you use oil on your skin, to get a good tan, that's discolorations from the sun. It may look good on you, but you're still exposing yourself from the ultra violet, and can do more harm than good.
You may not get wrinkles in the long run, but you still will get cancer, from the ultra violet.
