i have no idea if castor oil and new tattoos mix. My tattoo is about a day old. I put this all natural jelly on the area. It's made from castor oil, coconut oil, and Vitamin E. That's all no artificial ingredients. I covered the area in a loose shirt and took it off and the some ink got absorbed into it (!!!!). And then I put some more ointment/jelly on the tattoo and then it has started leaking ink badly.... I'm terrified that I really messed my tattoo up. Any Advice? I'm still waiting to hear back from my tattoo artist...

you said a lot of ink was leaking out...you need to make sure that your jelly doesn't have bactrian in it. any ointment that is made for cuts will try to pull the ink out because your tattoo is essentially an open wound. just because your jelly is all natural, that doesnt mean a thing. even natural ingredients can harm your tatt.
no neosporin or triple anti biotic ointment! your best bet is diaper rash cream. not kidding...it will heal it beautifully.

i got my first tattoo last year in december. Everything seemed great and the healing happened quickly. i was fine and nothing bothered me. then one day(for about a month now i have this) i noticed white dots on my ink. they don't itch...they don't hurt. they are just there. they come and go but mostly they are there all the time for the past month. they don't cover the whole tat. they are on the sides of it(its on my arm and its a big tattoo..it took 4 hours). what is with these dots? is it just something that will pass? im going to get a background added to it soon. but in the meantime i was curious if i should worry about this. i havnt been putting lotion because i didn't really need it. i know i should be but i wasn't sure if i should being i had these dots. i don't want to pop them...they are really tiny.
i don't think it's because he missed anything. believe me this thing is packed with shading and color and very well done. and sometimes those dots go away and there is my regular tattoo. no missed colors or anything.

I think it's just dry skin. I've had the same thing happen to mine. You could try putting coconut oil on your tattoo, that'll keep it moisturised and supple :)
