Has anyone hear of using virgin coconut oil. If so what are the benefits?

I used it to make Popcorn. I prefer Peanut Oil better as it have a higher heat ability.
I have heard of it being used as skin lotion and other stuff. If, you go to;

I guess this the good stuff. I bought some at Wal-Mart a lot cheaper. But, may not be as good.

Can hot oil treatments be done with dry hair or does it have to be wet? And what oil should i use? coconut, jojaba, vegtable oill? & how much should be used? thanks!
