people have told me that putting coconut oil in your hair will make it grow. i do it once a week as a hot oil massage, and wash it out after about an hour. in many cultures they use coconut oil in their hair, what are the other benifits (or is there ANY at all??) and what would be a better oil to use in my hair if coconut oil is not as good for my hair as i think. i like how coconut oil makes my hair feel, and i can buy a big jar for not a whole lot of money and it lasts a while. please answer. 10 points best answer

i eat and shower with the stuff daily.. grow? it stops my extremely oil hair from going oily it stops my hair from falling out my nails look whiter! my 12+ years of acne on my back is gone my ibs is gone my ringworm is gone my gums wont bleed if I add it to floss and it cured me of my mono virus in 2 weeks!
its the Holy grail of health! :) really! I can even play my tetris game faster when I eat it + I got to level 20 and that never happened before the oil!
