so ive been hearing a lot about this coconut oil
i found a store that has it but i payed $17
spectrum coconut oil i think thats the name and its about 15oz
online its about $10 so i was kinda mad.
so to my question
im 19, 5ft and i weight 182.
i want to help out my metabolism so i can lose some weight
since im going to be drinking this
i want to know how much i should take?
i dont want to drink it and put it in my hair at the same time will it give me the same benifits it i just drink it?
i heard its good for your hair and skin. will drinking it give me the same results?
the reason i dont want to drink it and then put it in my hair/skin is b/c i only bought one jar [that cost me $17]..its weird i know but i rather have 3 different jars.

The short answer is no, you will not get the touted benefits unless you use it on your hair & skin directly. Not sure why you would not want to do that, you could do it early in the morning or late at night and let it soak in. Internally it is a great thing, I nearly replaced my other oils for this and now eat it like ice cream from time to time. Fact is you need fat and a lot of it, our brain and endocrine & hormonal systems feed on it and up to 30% by some estimates.. that is of GOOD fats, like coconut. Dosage varies greatly depending on body type, activity, and other factors, most jars say a tsp or two or a couple of tablespoons or more.

Does anyone know how to boost your metabolism?? Like is there a special type of food or excerise i should do?
Q. Yeah...My metabolism is actually not as fast as i want it to be and i heard it can be changed with specific excercise and eating...

Eating up to 100 grams of protein daily, taking a green tea supplement, drink green tea and oolong tea, coconut oil..
For tea, drink 32oz daily and u can mix the green and oolong teas in one cup.
The green tea supplement helps because it has the dosage needed to up the metabolism about 5%, plus it has good health benefits.
Coconut oil is very well known for it's health benefits and speeding up a slow metabolism. Do a google search on it.
Some people get queazy at first because coconut oil detoxs' the body quickly, so start with 1 tbsp daily and there is a chart someone online for how much to take with what weight range you are in. I know for me it's 3tbsp daily. I melt it in my tea.
