My herbalist sent me this info on coconut oil. Don't want to print her name to protect her privacy. There's a book mentioned that is all about coconut oil and its benefits. I would suggest getting that book for more info.

This is a “quick-read” list of the benefits of coconut oil. This information is taken directly from “The Coconut Oil Miracle” by Bruce Fife, C.N., N.D. (2004).

You will be amazed at what it does for you, however, like any other food or supplement, it is not a cure-all. Use common sense when it comes to medical issues and don’t neglect taking your supplements just because you are using coconut oil.

Do i Have to wash out the olive oil?

Iam Cherry
If i put in olive oil in my hair, do i have to wash it out or could i just leave it n there?
Answer
Leave the olive oil in your hair for as long as you like, I recommend a few hours to a day. to get the best benefits of the oil put a warm towel or cap on your head and process it with a hair dryer for about 30 mins.
You do need to wash it out, gently mist your hair with water, Do not saturate it and then massage a gentle shampoo into your scalp and hair,
EDIT:
Olive oil treatments are good for hair, medical experiments have shown that Avocado, Coconut and Olive Oils penetrate the hair adding proteins and strenthening the hair.
The person above me who says it does nothing, knows nothing. Research around the net, it's very good for you
leave for 30 secs- min then rinse with warm to cold water, if hair is still oily shampoo again and follow with a conditioner.
